Having the stamina of a newborn kitten is terrible. It seems all I do lately is work, come home, nap, get up and have dinner, and go back to bed! I've fallen away from my new health resolutions, too, and am not eager to see what the test results will say. I'm starting all over again now. Wish me luck!

So much has happened since I last posted!
We've moved, lost one four legged family member (poor darling Wanie, our one and only outdoor cat, vanished)and gained a whole bunch more of a different variety (mari begged for something little, soft and fluffy to pet; we got two "female" guinea pigs; one turned out to be male and one turned out to be pregnant; presto: SEVEN guinea pigs! NO, we're not keeping them all!), my health has gone up and down and now back up again, mari's cutting is complete and the brand has healed beautifully (I must figure out how to post pics), my paintings are selling in a new gallery, and I have an exclusive contract for my jewelry through an exquisite little botique on the beach in California (courtesy of a trip to visit my older sister). Thank gods my work can be done when I'm feeling well. I'd never last in corporate america the way my health has been for the past 6 months.
That sums up the major changes. I'm hoping to stay more up to date here in the future, now that I'm back online again.

I've been offline for a few months due to extreme ill health. I'm finally feeling a bit better, back to work part-time, and here once again. I have recently been diagnosed with diabetes, which isn't too much of a suprise since nearly everyone in my family has it. I'm working to lose 30 pounds to bring me down to 130, which may help. Svental walks or bikes with me every day, and mari is cooking vegan meals. The food is good, but I can't help but feel deprived! I love a nice juicy steak! And hey, I love a tall glass of milk with my meal! I never outgrew that childish habit, I suppose. I just can't get the hang of this soy stuff. I'm giving it all a try, though, and we'll see what effect it has on my health.

More thoughts on the expression of anger. More specifically, triggered anger, or that brought out by a strong emotional trigger. Positive behavior for the expression of anger normally dictates an active, constructive response, but when triggered the anger rises so quickly that it is difficult to give this kind of controlled response. This can be furthered complicated by a bottom that desires to repress anything that might be considered negative. The repression is so deep that the bottom is often unaware initially of it occuring.

Cut mari again last night. The lambda is complete. Now to see how long it will last before needing to be done again.
Such intensity, beauty, and--oh!--the look in her eyes!--it defies description.
My cautery brand is next. It won't last like her hot strike brand that is now--amazingly--thirty years old, but this one will likely have a good deal more meaning for her. It is wonderful to see her eyes open with amazement and joy as she experiences new emotions and depth after all her time in service. she (and admittedly, I, too) never thought that it could be quite this good.
